Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), founded in 1900 by industrialist Andrew Carnegie in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the world's premier university for computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, and software engineering. Admission Process
Common Application with CMU supplement. Early Decision: November 1 (strongly recommended for CS). Regular Decision: January 1. SAT/ACT required. TOEFL/IELTS for international applicants. CS acceptance rate ~5% (one of the most selective programs in the world).
